The Panj Pyare were the first five Sikhs initiated
into the Khalsa by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1699.
They came from different regions and backgrounds,
representing equality, courage, unity, and devotion
to Sikhi. The Panj Pyare hold a special place in Sikh
history and tradition.
